Packing List

DO NOT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT

• Sleeping bags/blankets/pillows

• Clothes (check the weather and pack accordingly)

• Toiletries (the campgrounds have restrooms and shower facilities)

• Bug spray is an important item for some folks

• Swim gear, Sunscreen, and Towels are essentials in the summer

• Water bottles - There are spigots with water for drinking and cleaning located through the campground

• Food, drinks, snacks - We will provide a cooler and there is ice for sale at the guard shack. There is also a barbecue restaurant (Pops) and a Dollar Store just off the interstate on your way to the Twin Knobs Campground

• Anything else your family needs (medications, etc) for a night away.

• Rain gear is always good to have…just in case and there are four emergency ponchos included with your package.

• Fishing rods (you’ll need a license)

• Bikes

• Boats (life jackets!)

• Books

• Sketch pad

• Board games (we provide a deck of cards)

• Instruments, etc.

  The lake is just steps away from your site and hiking and biking trails are accessible from the campground.
